LEARN FROM THE BAMBOO TREE

‘After the seed of Chinese bamboo is planted, nothing is seen for about 5 years – except a tiny sprout. All growth is underground; a complex root structure, extending vertically and horizontally through the earth, is being built. Then, at the end of the 5th year, Chinese bamboo grows to a height of 25 meters.

Many things in personal and professional life are just like Chinese bamboo. You work, invest time, effort, do everything you can to nurture its growth, and sometimes you see nothing for weeks, months or years. But if you have the patience to keep working, persisting, and nurturing, your 5th year will come; with it will come changes you never expected.
